TA Positions for Spring 2008
If you wish a Teaching Assistantship position for the Spring 2008 semester, please fill in the form above.VPRGE Graduate Student Assistant Web Developer Research and Graduate Education is seeking a graduate student to assist in the development and maintenance of web-based software applications written in Coldfusion and PHP. Experience in web-design and writing dynamic web pages is required. Knowledge and experience programming in Coldfusion and/or Java/JSP preferred. Some experience with Relational Databases such as writing queries in SQL is required and Oracle or MySQL experience is preferred. Exposure to or experience with PHP a strong plus. Knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript is required. This is an end-date position that will report to the Web Developer with the opportunity of a half-time GA for the coming academic year, contingent on satisfactory performance and ability. Student Web Development Specialist
The School of Engineering Dean’s Office has an opening for a Student Web Development Specialist. The successful candidate will provide website maintenance support under the direction of the School’s Webmaster, assisting with updating, expanding and creating School of Engineering websites. Requirements: Knowledge of HTML, XHMTL, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash, Adobe Acrobat, GNU/Linux, MS Windows XP, Apple OS and video editing techniques.

- Approximately 8-10 hours per week
- Rate: $9.00 to $10.00 per hour, depending upon experience.
