Here's a little bit more about our program.
- Our department has a highly favorable student-to-faculty ratio (currently around 10:1), which allows our Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering students to work closely with the faculty and receive personal attention while enjoying all the opportunities that come with attending a large flagship university like UConn.
- The constantly updated curriculum includes courses in the latest technologies, e.g., possible minors in nanotechnology and information assurance. (http://www.ee.uconn.edu/undergraduate-program).
- Undergraduate students can gain valuable research experience by working on research projects alongside graduate students and faculty members.
- In their final year, all Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering majors work on a yearlong team-based design project (fully funded by a sponsoring company or the university) to prepare them for engineering practice after graduation. Take a look at some of the projects that recent graduates have worked on by going to: http://ecesd.engr.uconn.edu
- Our 2019 graduates had an 85% placement rate by graduation and the rest have found jobs a few months after graduation. The average salary was $72,124 - higher than the national mean for EE grads (www.naceweb.org)
