Biography:

Starting at AT&T Bell Laboratories, Dr. Parrillo became a Supervisor leading two teams in advanced semiconductor technology development. Subsequently, he joined Motorola, serving in R&D roles and business as a Division General Manager. He later became Chief Technology Officer, Motorola Semiconductor Products Sector. After retiring from Motorola, he joined Spansion as EVP of R&D and later worked in Silicon Valley startups serving as CTO of Unity Semiconductor, acquired by Rambus, and COO of SuVolta. He is a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering, an IEEE Fellow, a recipient of the IEEE Frederik Phillips Award and the Electron Devices Society’s (EDS) J. J. Ebers award. He was President of EDS and received the EDS Distinguished Service Award.  He is a member of UConn’s Academy of Distinguished Engineers.
