Who are we?

We are FROST Robotics, the University of Connecticut's premier combat robotics team! Since our founding in 2021, we have consistently attended and competed at NHRL, the world's largest combat robotics league. 

What do we do?

As a club, we aim to offer any and all students, engineering and otherwise, the opportunity to build robots and learn valuable skills like CAD, electronics, machining, and software design. We have several ongoing projects, but we are open to supporting and realizing individual robotics projects! In addition to these projects, we will be hosting workshops to learn important engineering skills throughout the semester.

Some of our current projects that our members are working on include:

• Custom 6 DOF robotic arm led by grad students Sean, Dave, and Danny 
• Tombstone-like horizontal spinner combat robot led by Elijah
• Flamethrower combat robot led by Alison
• Meltybrain translational drift combat robot led by Louis
