Biography:
Dr. Fang is a Principal Engineer with System Operations department in ISO New England. He has 10+ years professional experience in the electric power industry, encompassing the fields of system planning and operations. His experience and research interests focus on power system modeling, primary frequency regulation, large-scale power system simulation, FACTS and HVDC modeling, power system stability and control with high penetration of inverter-based renewable energy.
Dr. Fang teaches ECE 5510 Power System Analysis and ECE 3231 Introduction to Modern Power Systems.
