Yaakov Bar-Shalom Earns IEEE Pioneer Award
Professor Yaakov Bar-Shalom has been selected for the 2022 IEEE AESS Pioneer Award. Bar-Shalom has won this award with Henk Blom of the Delft University of Technology, and their award stems from the development of the Interacting Multiple Model (IMM) approach to multi-model estimation and maneuvering target tracking.
